El Espectáculo de la cocina

This was a end-of-year project for Spanish class where we needed to learn about tapas, which are usually small dishes served anytime of day, and how to say as well as conjugate commands. The final product was for our group to make a film about cooking a recipe or two. This entailed creating a script, entirely in Spanish, where we had to tell the audience how to make the recipes, while filming the whole thing. The script was hard to create at first because we were still learning some of the words used for ingredients and cooking utensils, however it all worked out in the end. For our dishes, we made Spanish flan, which is a sweet, custardy dessert that is covered in melted sugar, and spiced Mexican hot chocolate, which came from the Aztecs, was very popular, and consists of milk, cocoa powder, and a whole bunch of spices.

Spanish Flan and Hot Chocolate Recetas
Hola, bienvenidos a mi casa. Soy “Simón” y mi co-cocinero es “Riley” y “Andy” Por nuestros platos, hacemos flan, y chocolate a la taza. “Flan es un postre muy delicioso que está hecho de mucha azúcar y leche evaporada. Flan es del imperio romano pero era presentado a España y era muy popular como un salada postre, pero se volvió azucarado después unos de años. Flan es esponjoso y meloso porque es como natillas.” “Chocolate a la taza era hecho por las Aztecas en México con muchas especias. Chocolate a la taza está típicamente liso y azucarado, pero la bebida era usado utilizado por cocinando, como sopa, y enchiladas.” Hoy, estamos haciendo los dos muy deliciosos platos de comida, y para empezar;
